Like Father, like daughter...

Anyone close to our family knows that Ryan's daddy is obsessed with getting & giving "tickles"- very light touches. I hate them.... So Jason has been on a mission to get Ryan to like tickles. She recently began enjoying the fine art of tickles from Daddy, and here is the proof. She will lay so still in a trance when receiving tickles. Just like her dad.

Ryan did not want to eat here birthday cake at first, but after a little help & encouragement, she dug in and ate the whole cake! Happy Birthday big girl!

A day at the Beach...

Ryan has never been to the beach, so when we went to CA we took the opportunity to introduce her to it. She loved the beach and was a bit nervous. Overall she had a great time getting wet!

So, we were at Babies R' Us last weekend and entered a raffle. I figured a bunch of people entered and assumed we wouldn't win anything. Then I got a call from the store manager letting us know that we won the grand prize - a new stroller! Sweet! Here is Ryan checking it out...

Cake!

Apparently Ryan loved her birthday cake. Here she is enjoying the cake and shoving her face full of cake. The last picture is classic; it looks as though she's thinking " get away from my cake!"

Ryan is One!!!

We can't believe our baby is one! Ryan had a great birthday on Aug. 4th. We went to kids club where they sang to Ryan, and then we went out to lunch at Island's where Ryan ate an entire kids meal! I was cringing while she devoured a whole grilled cheese sandwich and part of an ice cream sundae as we try to only give her "healthy" food... Then we had cupcakes and sang happy birthday again in the evening.
